The Reading Partnership Program (RPP) is a 10-week after-school program offered at Queen Mary PS from April 9 to June 18, 2025, in partnership with Student Achievement Through Equity (SATE). It is designed for kindergarten and grade 1 students and their parents/caregivers to support foundational literacy development. The program provides additional literacy support for children while giving families tools to support reading at home. Each participating family receives a free literacy kit worth $200.

Beyond literacy support, RPP is a wonderful school-community initiative. Families gather for dinner and have time to connect before each session. This structure encourages families to be actively engaged in their child’s school experience.
