Queen Mary News - Week of March 3
Happy March! It is hard to believe that March is already here. Although it certainly doesn’t look like it now, Spring is just around the corner.
Please remember to send your child with outdoor clothes to match the weather. It has been very unpredictable lately. Please contact the office if you need any support with outdoor clothes. We are always happy to help out!
March Break
The March Break school holiday is next week. All OCDSB schools will be closed to students from March 10th to 14th.
Elementary Program Review Update (French Immersion Coming and Some Boundary Changes Potentially Happening in September 2026)
The proposed new boundaries, program and grade structures for all elementary schools in the OCDSB were released as part of the proposed Elementary Program Review (EPR). This information can be found on engage.ocdsb.ca in both alphabetical order and in a school locator.
As the implementation of these boundaries is proposed to occur in 2026 (subject to approval by the Board of Trustees), you can input your child’s(ren’s) grade level corresponding to that year to determine whether there are any changes to your child’s school.
Thank you for your ongoing interest in this process. Please contact the school or visit engage.ocdsb.ca for more information.
